The very later 950 mk2's used the TLM but as you said I've seen a few 950's with VV's, I've been searching Ebay and Facebook groups for anyone braking a 950 and one popped up the other day, I've been looking at IBF's as well but I'm a little worried about buying a secondhand one as when they where new the kits had a lot of extra bits like studs etc that I wouldn't get if I just got the carb used.
I think the car would run a little lean if it was still on the 950 jets, you may not think the difference is that much but if you think that the difference between the two is 150cc and it's 200cc between the 1.1 and the 1.3 and you would defo need difference jets if you swapped between those two engines.
When I had my Imp with a Weber DCD I could swap everything over with that carb and the slightest change in either a choke or jet would upset it's running (or improve it depending on what way you went).
