Ok; Look at the front of this:

I'm not a great fan of the Hella Grill and though there's nothing wrong with it I'm thinking of changing it in favour of a standard UK item... What do you think?

(Oh, and before any one suggests it the grill on the front of my XR is a one-off item, so not really an option)

The US Grill always looks good on the Mk1, wether it would have the same impact with your cab having square lamps remains to be seen.

However, I DO actualy like the Hella headlamp grill, one of the few that actualy do I think. Ultimatly, it's your choice, But i'd go either US or keep the Hella one.

Jason.

I'm looking to keep the car pretty much near standard.

Square lights are there to stay, but the odd subtle mod here and there never did any harm.

I'm sure Mark will be along soon with a sellection of Photoshop'd pics to choose from :)

The 'squareness' of the hella kinda suits the square lights in the cabby.
I recon it looks quite 'factory', retro and nice.

(and I usually hate hella grills!)

I used to have a grill like that one my mini... bloody useless it was.. the holes were alot larger and more spaced out and on a car thats reknown for over-heating problems it wasn't much good... think it's still in my garden somewhere
