back to the idea of the black seats....

Image

photoshop is useful :P

what do you think? and befor you say it, i know the door cards and the dash would have to be the same colour. do you think black or grey? do you like the seats?

Also

i think that this would be soooo cool to replace the standar ford ones. i would have the letters slightly further apart tho, but you get the idea. does anybody know, who, if, how, how much etc etc to make such an item? i would be looking for a pair.

bye for now :D

As I've said already - As you love the fact it's the only one so much (which is a god thing) then you don't really want to mod it like that!!

You want to use standard Ford parts, and as it's already got a MKII XR2 bodykit and a mint pre face-lift MKII XR2 interior you'd be a fool to damage it!

The car looks good as it is; what you want to do is look after is, get some pepperpots on it and work on some of the bits that need sorting like painting under the bonnet.
Oh - and the only self-adhesive thing you want to look into is maybe getting some replica Fly decal made.

Get some good quality suspension on it, a big engine set up to give loads of low-down torque (because you don't want to rag it) and just enjoy the car :)

I'd ditto that.

If it IS the one and only Mk2 Fly, then I'd leave it exaclty as it is. Better still, put it back to exactly how it was after the conversion was done. It'll be worth more then.

And like 'lumi said. It's a car you want to enjoy on Sunny Sunday jaunts down into the country with. You don't wanna rag something like that.

Get another Fiesta for that.. I'm sure 'lumi's got a few spare one's lying around...

Jason.

after thinking about it and a dicussion with chris at work last night, i have a plan.

its a 1.1 which is bad
a 1.6cvh would mean that i would rad the nuts off it,m and that cant happen.
so i was thinking maybe put a 1.3 ket crossflow in there as a kind of half way comprmise. Chris says that it just plugges in exactly as the 1.1 comes out. is that right?

how much would it cost me?
